Switched communications network
The Switched communication network transfers data from the source to the destination via a series of network nodes. Switching can be done in one of two ways. A network-switching network, on the other hand, transmits digital data into smaller pieces called packets, each of which operates independently of the network. In a process called store transfer, each packet is temporarily stored in each central location, and then forwarded when the following link is available. In a connection-focused transmission system, each packet takes the same route through the network, and thus all the packets usually arrive in the same sequence as they are sent. Broadcast network
